Gill Sage
Prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 1991, Gill gained experience in sales and marketing and as a lecturer in further and higher education.
Gill's legal experience includes six years as an in-house lawyer for the teaching trade union ATL; then six years as a partner in private practice advising trade unions, foreign exchange banks, manufacturing companies, retail organizations and a worldwide coffee franchise.
Gill has developed a large following through her lecturing practice for CLT. A full list of all lectures can be obtained via their web site (www.clt.co.uk). Additionally, Gill has been published in a wide variety of articles and major publications during her legal career.
In 2002 she wrote a book on Transfer of Undertaking for the Law Society and in 2006 contributed to a major publication on the 2006 Transfer of Undertakings Regulations (www.informaprofessionalacademy.com). She has also contributed to croners looseleaf publication 'A Teachers Legal Guide' and in 2006 wrote and presented a DVD for Legal Network TV on the 2006 Transfer of Undertakings (www.college-of-law.co.uk).
Gill has also handled many sensitive political severances from the Conservative Party.
In 2002 Gill established Sagelaw to more effectively serve her client base and to provide the type of service that clients deserve.
